Do I need to make a reservation for a tea ceremony?
Yes, reservations are required for all tea ceremonies to ensure we can provide you with the best experience. We recommend booking at least 72 hours in advance, especially for weekend sessions which tend to fill up quickly.
What should I wear to a tea ceremony?
We recommend comfortable clothing that allows you to sit comfortably on floor cushions. While there's no strict dress code, we suggest avoiding very casual attire like shorts or athletic wear. Also, as you'll be removing your shoes, please wear or bring clean socks.
How many people can attend a private tea ceremony?
Our private ceremonies can accommodate between 2 and 12 guests. For larger groups, please contact us directly to discuss custom arrangements. Groups larger than 12 people may need to be split into multiple sessions for the best experience.
Are your facilities accessible for people with mobility issues?
Yes, our tea house is wheelchair accessible with ramp access and an elevator. We also have tables and chairs available as alternatives to floor seating upon request. Please let us know about any specific accommodations when booking.
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions during tea tastings?
Absolutely. When traditional sweets are served with the tea, we can provide gluten-free, vegan, and nut-free options. Please inform us of any dietary restrictions or allergies when making your reservation so we can prepare accordingly.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, digital payments (Apple Pay, Google Pay), and cash. For private events and workshops, a 50% deposit is required at the time of booking, with the balance due on the day of the event.
